Island Pacific Plumbing History

When you need full-service plumbing you can trust Island Pacific Plumbing. We specialize in residential and light commercial service across Vancouver Island, and we are focused on ensuring that you receive the most valuable and comfortable experience while having your plumbing system serviced, repaired, replaced, or renovated.

I started my plumbing career in Germany, where I was certified in plumbing service and sales. In 2008 I completed my Canadian plumbing and gas certification. I made my dreams come true by moving to Vancouver Island and starting my own business in November 2014. I have over 30 years of combined experience in both countries.

Specialized European Experience and Knowledge

I began my career in Europe, which has very advanced and intricate plumbing systems compared to those in North America. I plan on bringing European plumbing parts and systems to Vancouver Island so I can increase efficiency and give you more options when building a new home or planning a renovation.

Marcus was awesome! We called about a leak In our crawl space. He came out the same day and inspected the area. The leak was actually coming from our roof so we needed to call a roofer and Marcus didn’t charge us for his time. An outstanding guy!

6 Star Service. We live outside of Duncan, and Marcus showed up promptly on time. He is personable, professional, and went above and beyond our expectations for the work we had him do. Very reasonable rates and excellent work ethic. He also provided sound intelligent advice for another plumbing project that is in our future. So happy to have found Island Pacific Plumbing. He's professional, punctual, knowledgable, meticulous, honest, & very reasonable. My 13 yr. old hot water tank started leaking on a "Holiday Monday". I called to leave a message to make an appointment to get in the line-up for later that week. I was surprised, he returned my call & was out to look at it within 2 hours. It was shot and not repairable, but he had a new tank installed by 10:00 am the next day, 100% satisfaction. While he was there, I asked him to look at kitchen tap that was leaking, he advised us to replace it, "not worth fixing". We purchased a new one following his recommendations, and he installed it & again with 100% satisfaction. Marcus's service standard is very old school, a job worth doing is worth doing right. He has a very high "German" technical schooling and his work will be above and beyond any standards acceptable in the industry. I Highly Recommend him and will use him for all my plumbing, gas, or solar installations going forward.
